The Building Futures programme has commissioned Dr Marianne Doherty to compile a scoping document to better understand the impact of long-term imprisonment in Northern Ireland.

The document highlights challenges faced by people serving long-term prison sentences in Northern Ireland and considers the differences and parallels with England, Wales and Scotland.
