Double Trouble? Black, Asian and minority ethnic offenders’ experiences of resettlement

This report by Clinks and Prison Reform Trust sets out the findings of research into the resettlement needs and experiences of black, Asian and minority ethnic prisoners and ex-prisoners.

An innovative aspect of the research methodology was the use of peer researchers to conduct interviews. Six research assistants were contracted to the project, four of whom were from a minority ethnic background and five of whom had served prison sentences. The peer researchers were trained and supervised by Sylvia Chenery. They contributed to the project from design to the drafting of the report.
