Parole
The Prison Reform Trust has been engaged in a long-standing dialogue with the Ministry of Justice on its reforms to the Parole Board and parole criteria. Many of the changes have been issued on the basis of no consultation, no parliamentary debate and with nothing to explain what they actually mean in practice. We are seeking to inject openness and transparency into this process, and to provide prisoners and their families with the vital information they need.
