Prison Service Journal publishes article on women’s experiences of long-term imprisonment
As part of PRT’s Building Futures programme, which looks at the experience of people serving long prison sentences, Claudia Vince and Emily Evison have written an article for the Prison Service Journal about the specific experiences of women serving these sentences.
The article was informed by working group discussions, letters and emails from women serving long sentences, overwhelmingly, the women spoken about hope, health and staff relationships.
