Paula Harriott appointed as Head of Prisoner Engagement

We are very pleased and excited to announce that Paula Harriott has been appointed to the role of head of prisoner engagement at the Prison Reform Trust. This new senior management position reflects our desire to give a louder voice to prisoners and their families both in meeting the challenges of prison reform and in how PRT itself operates.

Paula brings a wealth of relevant experience and skills to PRT. Currently head of involvement at Revolving Doors Agency, she was previously the head of programmes at User Voice. Heavily in demand across the criminal justice and health sectors, she has led work to make user involvement integral to the way services are delivered. Perhaps uniquely, she has experience both as a prisoner and more recently as a probation inspector.

Paula will take up post later in the autumn. I look forward to the partnerships this new role will allow us to forge, and the difference it will help us to make in the lives of prisoners and their families.
