Minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the All-Party Group on Penal Affairs, held on 14 July 2020, 2pm

Lord Ramsbotham introduced the meeting and the purpose of the EGM – the election of a new registered chair (co-chair) of the group. He thanked Paul Maynard MP for agreeing to stand for the position. In accordance with APPG rules, the meeting was advertised in the All-Party Notices the preceding week. No further nominations have been received.

The meeting then proceeded to a vote. It was unanimously agreed by those present to appoint Paul Maynard MP as registered chair (co-chair) of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Penal Affairs.
